Dr. Mackey is a good doctor the only problems are wait time and scheduling. If you’re fine with waiting an 1-2 hours before being seen then this office is for you. I had a 11:30 appointment. I get to the office and check in by 11:25 then begins the wait. I waited until 12 and then asked the receptionist how much longer and she said that doctor mackey was still with her 10:30 appointment and have a 11:00 appointment that she has to see before me. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Mackey. She is very caring, goes out of her to make sure you are not treated like a number. She genuinely cares about her patients. She's very thorough, and listen to your needs. I'm so gad I found her. I have someone that I can trust to do the right thing when it comes to my health! Thank you.
We had to change doctors after years with Dr. Mackey due to the unbearable front staff and lack of technology. My mother has dementia and I'm her POA, so I handle all her appointments and medicine. This office made things as difficult as possible for us and were extremely rude anytime I attempted to speak with someone on my mom's behalf. They frequently insisted I deliver hardcopy documents because they didn't have an email set up and their portal never worked properly (I'm an IT professional and it wasn't user error).
