This is an update from below. 4 months post deep plane.
Very poor outcome, process, and overall experience with Dr. Sitapara. I now need a full revision of deep plane facelift/neck lift. I wish I had been aware of his level of experience before I chose to spend $27K. I believed him when he assured me that I would be receiving the type of anesthesia we discussed (I did not) and the outcome we talked about (I did not). A traumatic experience overall.
Very poor experience with Dr. Sitapara. Many things went wrong and the outcome resulted in no real change to face and chin/neck distortions. Please do your research. I now have to start all over, after paying over $27K. Other board-certified doctors have indicated that the result was not good at all and recommend a full revision after waiting a full year. This was a very negative situation overall, with many things done that were questionable at best.
Very negative experience with Dr. Sitapara. Started out with twilight and he transitioned to general, despite my not consenting to that, and stayed under for 9 hours. Many more issues. Poor outcome overall where other board-certified surgeons that I have consulted for a revision with have assured me that this was the work of someone not skilled.
