Dr. Yanes will take time to explain things and why he feels that way, but he seems to listen and return to his first (or default) explanation and plan. He and his staff are difficult (or impossible) to reach by phone or by email through the patient portal. Dr. Yanes has incorrectly written one of my primary prescriptions about 80-90% of the time. I have been going to Dr. Yanes for a few years and feel he is great. He listens, has a great bedside manner and seems to truly care. The office staff is certainly overwhelmed so never leave a message, they don't call back (at least haven't with my messages). The staff has always been so nice.
This has nothing to do with Dr Yanez but the staff in the front. I had an appt this morning and when I got there they asked me if I had a mask. I said no and the girl offered me one for a dollar and I said OK. I gave her a 20 because that’s all I had. She said the didn’t have change and would have to reschedule my appointment. So I didn’t get to see the Dr for a lousy dollar. Wasn’t given any options to pay that had to be the worse customer service I have ever had.
Dr Yanes is thorough, he listens, and makes sure he addresses everything. I think his staff is overwhelmed by his increase patient clientele. Yes was on held a long time but they did return and say what was going on. Patience, it isn’t easy right now.
Great doctor no problems very helpful and explains everything very well.
I have gone to Dr. Yanes for years and I feel the medical care he provides is first rate. A good bedside manner, takes enough time to be thorough and thoughtful. He was able to diagnose a serious disease from a seemingly mild symptom. He seems to seriously consider my opinions which I value.
