It was during my medical residency that I met Dr. Melissa Carucci, now my wife, who practices in our Antioch Family Practice department. After completing residency, we moved to Oregon and joined Kaiser Permanente Northwest. I had nothing but the best care from Dr Jesse Logan. Very kind, compassionate, funny and caring. never had a bad experience and he was knowledgeable and always sharing ways to help ease whatever I was going through physically. When your old stuff happens. I'm sad he has left us and for his family who I'm sure are left with a big hole in their hearts. 💔
I started crying during an exam where I was in a huge amount of pain, and he said "are you OK? do you need to go to emergency?" Um hello!?! Are you not the professional? Do I need emergency care? My pain was completely dismissed, kept telling me it was my gut or just a regular period, and finally I just told him he was not helping me and to leave so I could get dressed. Spoke to a friend at work the next day about my appointment and she said she went to him and he was awful to her too! What a jerk.
My priority in a surgeon was skill and a low complication rate. Dr. Logan is exemplary in both areas. I found him extremely patient in answering all my questions, prompt in getting back with me when I emailed, and never, ever pushy in any of the decision making related to my surgery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Logan to any woman considering him for her surgeon.
Dr. Logan belittled me and insulted me during a miscarriage and during a pregnancy. He kept saying "Paranoid! Paranoid!" when I said that I was bleeding and was worried about a miscarriage. He was extremely insensitive and at one point tried to force me to take a test. When I refused the test he yelled at me and then screamed "I'm sick of arguing with you".
