Dr. brown has been very attentive and thorough in regards to trying to solve my issues. It’s still a bit of a mystery but they have always returned messages and calls in a timely manner. I also feel like she has always listened to my concerns and respected my decisions on my route of care!
LOVE Dr. Brown, but one of her nurses at Mowery is crabby, cold, and argumentative!! Is Dr Brown aware of how her pts are being treated whenever they call with a problem? Dr Brown is great, but her mean ‘nurse’ needs a heart transplant!❣️ 8/25 Update: Dr Brown has moved to SRHC Comcare—unsure whether she still has the same nurse, but so far everyone has been very kind and helpful! :))
Dr. Brown is okay but her nurse is absolutely horrendous! I had diverticulitis and then C. Diff and was told that the swelling in my intestines was from constipation. I was crapping like a Christmas goose. The CT scans both showed liver lesions, which my PCP thought should be investigated, but instead she ignored those and out of the blue prescribed me lactulose, no explanation or warning. What the heck?
The nurses were extremely nice and attentive and caring. However Dr Brown keep insisting that I had to stay in the hospital and she was going to send my results to another doctor who is not my doctor. Kept telling me that I had an ulcer from constipation when I have had no constipation whatsoever! Would not listen to me and try to put me on a high fiber diet with fiber meds to relieve constipation that I don't even have.
