Excellent doctor. Good listener to create an accurate plan of care and treatment.
Thank God for Dr.Popat. He is a fabulous Cardiologist. The thing that sets him apart from other doctors is he is very proactive and very interested in preventative medicine. He continues to educate himself by attending seminars based on his specialty. For example, today I had a procedure called an ablation. I have been suffering with restless leg syndrome for years. Dr. Popat is seriously amazing. I went in with a list of issues that prior doctors had brushed off but he sincerely listened to every concern and had a possible explanation for the cause of literally every symptom. He was able to answer all of my questions and even though the appointment was brief it didn't feel rushed at all. He was the one who ordered the testing last year that found out that I had venous insufficiency and that my leg pain wasn't just "aging" or "anxiety". Popat has been my go-to Cardiologist for almost 4 years now. No other cardiologist took my concerns seriously. After complaining to my PCP about how several Cardiologists kept shrugging at my concerns (saying I was "too young" or "too skinny" to have any cardiac issues) she referred me to Popat and told me I was in good hands.
