Dr. Jefson not only handles various general surgery cases but he also takes care of a lot of breast Cancer patients as well. I have seen many women who have went to his office and could not speak highly enough about Dr. Jefson and his care. He works with some other amazing general surgeons as well.
He makes you feel important, heard, and that your care is the priority. He is truly one of God's gifts to the community in numerous ways not just as a general surgeon.
I feel very fortunate that I was referred to Dr. Jefson for a needed surgery. He took the time to fully explain my health issue and explain in detail the specifics of my planned surgery. The day of the surgery he again took the time to explain what he was going to do in surgery and make sure I know what to expect. I had an emergency appendectomy performed and had zero issues pre and postop under the care of this physician. Very thankful that exceptional physicians are available for emergency referrals and care.
Dr Jefson is wonderful! I had to have emergency surgery during the Covid-19 pandemic. This was my first surgery and I was in the hospital all alone. He had a wonderful sense of humor and great bedside manner that really put me at ease. My steri-strips fell off early than expected and I thought I may have an infected incision. I called after hours and he immediately called back, gave me some advice, and a number to text photos of my incision to the next day if I still felt like it may be infected. First impression of Dr Jefson was very positive. Came into room with a smile, positive, outgoing attitude. Shook my hand and sat down and talked to me. Very positive attitude, good bedside manner. Finished the procedure I was there for, left room for few minutes and returned, sat down and talked again. He walked with me to the door, shook my hand and went back in. Very impressed with him.
