Dr. Mikszewski spent little to no time or information on what the cognitive testing would be like. During some of the tests I was having trouble with, it felt like he was becoming annoyed as he didn't respond with anything that would make me feel more at ease. Rather, it was making the testing more difficult for me. After sending me for a PET scan of my brain, he called me at my home at 8 a.m. to advise me that I had a brain disease for which there was no cure.
I took my wife to be examined / diagnosed by a dr. Jerold Mikszewski at PennMed. I could not get a response directly from the doctor. I got unprofessionally, no definitive answers to the test that the doctor gave my wife. My daughter & I were in the room. The results from two blood test were not professionally explained. I have to do this again eleswhere.
I had the good fortune of being introduced to Dr. Mikszewski when I was dealing with nerve damage/toxic exposure. Personally attentive, patient, considerate and brilliant.
Dr. Mikszewski refused to prescribe the medication that he said would best treat my symptoms.
