Do yourself a favor and find an actual neurologist. I went to Dr. Grimes because I was dealing with extremely debilitating pain and all the other neurologists had at least a 4 month wait list. Long story short, the man didn’t even try to figure out what was causing my issues. He basically said “hmph, that sure is strange” and pushed me out the door. Weird experience from the git go. He wasn't referred to me I picked him because he was close by and took my insurance. I did read reviews posted by patients and should have paid attention. Was told it would be 3- months to get in as a new patient so made that appointment but later in the day received a phone call saying an appointment suddenly became available the next day. Showed up to a small, dark office with no one in sight. The receptionist finally came in and took me "back" to an exam room. There were no other patients... read more

Have two members of our family that are Dr. Grimes' patients. One, I have accompanied them to appointments. Our appointment for today was for 1pm and we were seen at 1pm. He is wonderful with the patients and so smart w/the latest in his field. He takes the time to explain the science of things as it pertains to illnesses. His note-taking is excellent and he is good and prepared with the follow-up concerns, events. Hope he never leaves this area. We are fortunate to have him in our community.
