Dr. Underdahl has performed two of my strabismus corrective surgeries. He is amazingly talented, professional and kind. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an adult strabismus specialist. I cannot thank him enough for the amazing job he has done on my eye and for giving me the confidence I needed with my appearance.
I have a 3 1/2 yr old (with special needs) who Dr. Underdahl has been very helpful with in all procedures. My son has a lazy eye as well as CVI(cortical visual impairment) both addressed by Dr. Underdahl. I am a picky mom when it comes to my boys, and he has passed all of my expectations. He has also given great advice for situations. He has shared his general knowledge and direction on things that may help even outside of his field. As well as organizations that may help me understand my sons disability.
We've had a great experience. He diagnosed my daughter with a lazy eye and has been very good about following up with her. During the last appointment, his very careful observations of her revealed that the eye still wasn't corrected and he prescribed the next step for correction. I had been to optometrist before going to Underdahl and had been given a completely wrong prescription for my daughter so I'm sooo happy I went with my gut feeling and headed to Underdahl for a 2nd opinion.
