Dr.Vargas is good ,the problem is when you call for an appointment or a referral 20 minutes waiting on phone.Over two weeks waiting for the referral to be processed. I called the insurance company, they were never contacted.They need a good office manager.
Wait time is horrible even if you have an appointment. I usually wait at least 1.25 hours to get in when I arrive on time for my appointment. Also the doctor does not return messages. If you have an after hours emergency she returns all messages - doesn't allow an on-call doctor to do so. And you never get a call back. You have to call the next day and ask why you weren't called back and then usually by TEN P.M. the doctor will finally call you. I am finding a new doctor.
