She has been my gyno for a few years. She has ignored and pushed passed all my request and concerns saying I was too young for anything bad anyway. (I was 28/29 yrs old). I’m thirty now and have since explored other doctors and turns out I was right. I have PCOS, put on progesterone as well as getting diagnosed with catamenial epilepsy!
After 2 years of infertility I went to her. She took me seriously & evaluated me. After establishing that I was infertile she decided surgery to remove the endometriosis would be best. Jan 2013 she performed a robotic surgery. My endo was so bad she couldn't fix me. She closed me up & refered me to specialist at Duke who could. Thankfully she did bc I had a 12 hour surgery that if done at Onslow (I needed a emer. vascular surgeon bc it was SO bad) I would have died. She's selfless and awesome.
she sets a follow-up appointment only to ask the patient what she can do for the patient. obviously not making time to study patient's case or atleast be ready once she face the patient.
