Lack of Communication.
No one in this office from the doctor down to the front desk seems to be able to do a good job. They have failed to schedule appointments on numerous occasions when the doctor is available ( she is going on vacation for example) No one seems to know anything it until the last second. Vacations are normally planned, especially when you have this type of business. Excessive wait times. Excessive appointments being rescheduled up to three times. Very thorough and compassionate doctor. She takes her time with me at each visit. She's also fit me in when I have a more urgent concern.
My wife has a number of health issues and friends recommended Dr Evangelista as a caring and very competent Dr. She is without a doubt one of the best we have ever encountered. A very broad range of knowledge and extremely thorough in her exam and explanations. As a result, wait times may be well past the appointment time. For us,we do not look at that as a negative, because of the quality of her diagnosing skills. Her nursing staff also 5 star.
I bring my Grandmother and I love this doctor. She is so thorough and she answers all our questions...and my Nana understands her well. She and her staff are AWESOME. I know it's busy and the wait is crazy sometimes, but it's so worth the care and compassion you get. Behind this business is a hard working family and go above and beyond for their patients. Wonderful doctor. Really takes the time to get to know her patients.
The waiting room always feels stuffy like their A/C doesn't function properly. Seems like Dr. is always behind schedule. I usually arrive early and get taken in 30-45min after my scheduled appointment then I have to wait about another 15min before she even walks into exam room. I wish I didn't always feel so rushed especially since I have to wait so long to be seen for just 10min at most.
