My experience
I found Dr. Yu’s office after being incredibly disappointed by another office’s lack of communication regarding an infection I had. Due to loss trauma, I was specifically looking for a doctor who was knowledgable, honest , communicative, patient and trustworthy. I found that in Dr. Yu. He delivered my child on a Saturday in February 2025, after my water broke unexpectedly. After calling the emergency number, he called me back within five minutes. Soon as the baby was out, we didn’t see Dr. Yu again. 36 hrs later we were discharged going home without seeing him. Everything was great up until the delivery date. I realized we were just another number at that point. We will not be going back. Also, if you ever have any questions about billing you’re not allowed to speak with their 3rd party billing vendor. This doctor doesn't really care much about health issues. Giving the wrong recommendation about pregnancy "working out hard, sex" etc. Not recommended.
I’m writing this review out of serious concern about my appointment yesterday with Dr. Jeffrey Yu. I recently found out I have varicose veins causing debilitating leg pain and fatigue, significantly impacting daily function. Swelling, especially during PMS and my period, worsens the leg pressure and pain. After months of trial and error, I found that compression stockings and occasional NSAIDs help; hormonal birth control worsens my vein symptoms, which is common for venous insufficiency patients.
