I decided to write this because the same thing happened to someone else as well as myself. Dr. Is very nice but cares more about money than patients. I was one of his first patients when he started. I had recommended him to many people over the years. After Covid I had a balance of $80 due him.I went in to change my meds and was told I wouldn’t be seen because I didn’t have the money that day. Dr Smith is a wonderful doctor. He is very compitant and kind. His staff on the otherhand is anything but. They are rude and will be the ruin of his practice. My Handicapped wife was a few minutes late because of an uber driver only to find they had lacked the doors when she got there. When she called them they were rude to her. When I went to pick up my wifes paperwork which was not dealt with, I was told she is discharged as a patients. She had needed paperwork for Social Scurity. Dr smith is a wonderful Dr who we’ve been going to for years and years, sadly with insurance changes and moves etc we lost touch but we were trying to re establish going back to his office, so as you can imagine it came to a shock to me when I called and Lynn transferred me over to a woman name Nicole ( office manager ? ) was very brash and short on the phone with me saying that they won’t accept us back because my husband was rude to them earlier ? Dr. Smith is the only doctor I’ve been comfortable going to. I feel like he listens to what I tell him instead of writing everything off as “hormones”
Dr. Smith is wonderful! His staff not so much. Move 3 years ango. Never received a statement of owing anything why? Because they haven’t updated my information! Every year for a physical they make sure you verify your information. Can you explain to me why my info wasn’t updated and they are nasty to all patients. I’m really contemplating on changing my dr. Just sucks that I’m so comfortable with him.
