We have gone to Dr Vasta for over 10 years. Always liked dealing with him on a personal and professional level. He is both experienced and up to date on medicine. A huge strength is his staff and the ease of talking to the right people to take care of our needs. That includes nurses for immediate attention and a top notch person to immediately handle prescriptions and medical records. Also a staff that handles questions if more often important than talking to the doctor himself.

My grandfather has been Dr Vasta’s patient since Dr Vasta left medical school but has had continuous problems over the years. I honestly am not sure why my grandfather has stayed with him so long. My grandfather is 95 years old and at home in the process of dying. He lives with a cardiac ICU RNP who knows the signs. My pharmacy office calls me and tells me that can’t fill my one prescription because it’s a control medication because there is no refills on it. I call my Drs office and they said I need to make an appointment. I said why didn’t they make me an appointment the last time I was there... no answer. Dr. Vasta was at the beginning of a 3 week vacation when my mother fell ill, and she ultimately passed. As a doctor who services elderly patients, he had no coverage for his practice. On top of that when she did pass, his office said he'd sign the certificate, and then he ultimately refused to sign until he returned from vacation - 13 days after she passed away.
