Had surgery a year ago and returned for skin check. Staff at the desk were friendly as were the nurses. Dr. Bakal is very bright, no-nonsense and confident. He is down-to-business as a doctor but certainly enjoys interacting with patients and exhibits a humorous side that is reserved yet genuine. He waits for you to ask questions and replies with informed and thorough information. Two months ago I had surgery for removal of Squamous Cell Carcinoma which landed me in the ER with a severe Surgical Site Infection. Nasty doctor. Rude and arrogant.

He saw a mole on my back which he said might be melanoma and after anesthesia he removed it and showed it to me and looked like any normal mol... read more
Recently got on blood thinners and the Dr. didnt check the chart to see what meds I was on. He cut into my skin to remove a suspected skin issue, which came back negative, and I bled for 2 days afterwards, finally having to go to emergency room for stitches. Wouldnt trust him anymore.
