Dr. Smith and his team were so kind, empathetic and knowledgeable. They prepared me for what was to come and expectations I could understand from the original biopsy, to installing the port to mastectomy and more. I felt he and his team were there for me and never rushed our appointments and time together. Cancer is scary, but i felt like i truly mattered to them and they were taking great care of me.
Dr Smith did a breast biopsy on me. I was so nervous leading up to the appointment. But as soon as he walked into the room he completely calmed me with his confidence and kindness. I was so amazed that he was able to perform the procedure right then and there in his office. No more waiting and worrying. He is one of the few surgeons able to do a core biopsy with ultrasound in his office. He promised he would call as soon as he had the results. From the front desk to seeing Dr Smith, my visits have been exemplary. Your staff has been kind and caring. There are 3 people I wish to recognize: Ashley, Kristyn Schultz, and Mary - one of the nurses. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Plus, I love Dr Smith!

Dr smith was my surgeon for a dbl mastectomy. I saw 4 opinions before choosing Dr Smith, and I am so happy with my decision! He made me feel calm and reassured me that I would be ok through such a scary time in my life. My surgery went amazing. My pathology report came back with clear margins, clear sentinel lymph node biopsy's (he only took 2 from each arm, for minimal side effects), and minimal scaring. I was a candidate for NSM and my nipples survived and my skin looks amazing!
