Fabulous doctor with extensive knowledge and caring nature.
I have been a patient of Dr. Lefkowitz's for close to 20 years. He was recommended to me by another patient of his and I have recommended him to many others, all of whom share my respect for the him as a person and physician. He has tremendous knowledge and compassion and a genuine concern for the well being of his patients. Even when he is presented with a challenging condition he reaches out to or recommends other well qualified specialists to aid in his patient's care.
I have been going to Dr Lefkowitz over 10 years now, and he and his staff are outstanding. His staff is very friendly and helpful. He is very patient and very thorough, he explains and cares for his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Lefkowitz.
The staff is rude, gave me medically inaccurate information over the phone on more than one occasion, called in the wrong number of pills to my pharmacy, and overcharged me for a visit in a very unhanded way (booked me to see Dr. Lefkowitz as a primary care physician, then when I got to the office, was told I had to pay the higher specialist co-pay to see him because he is really not a primary care physician, he is a specialist). Also kept me waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time.
