Very knowledgeable and expert in treatment
Dr Tioco performed my ankle/leg surgery and I, so far, am very happy with the outcome and doctor. I have yet to see him in his office but I will comeback and report on the follow up.
I had bilateral knee replacement done by Dr. Tioco, I couldn’t be happier! He explained things so that I understood, let me see my x-rays and went over them with me. While it was a hard recovery I am happy to be able to walk, dance, climb stairs again pain free.
Dr. Tioco did my left knee in '10. Process was ok. Now, it's my right knee. I called for an appt. and to verify my Ins. (BC-BS of Illinois). His staff said it was "accepted". I arrived this afternoon to find out that my insurance is NOT accepted. I angrily scratched my name off the 'sign in' sheet and his receptionist said "calm down, sir"! This, after HER mistake! Maybe he's still a half-way decent Dr (maybe not; don't know) but he's not very good at screening receptionists. I'll find a new Dr.
