Dr. K is very thorough and caring. I have been seeing him since 2013 and would not change. Over the years I have had experience with many ophthalmologists and find him to be at the top of the list.
Dr. Kurilec is the most detailed and thorough medical professional that I have ever been to. My mother had burst a blood vessel in her eye several years ago and I looked for the best rated ophthalmologist I could find. After she met with him, she insisted I start seeing him and I have been ever since. He pays very close attention to any symptoms and is meticulous in his note taking and patient history. Always welcoming, prompt and professional
I used to really like Dr. Kurilec but I recently called to make my yearly appointment. For months now I’ve had contacts that don’t work that I paid a LOT of money for. When I called recently I told the receptionist that I wanted to talk to the doctor about my contacts and I had a problem and he replied with “well you can talk to him in 2 months about that problem because that’s when he will see you.” I said “but I need help-“ “right and you can talk to him in TWO MONTHS! Got a same day appointment for an eye infection as a new patient. Dr. Kurilec was thorough, accommodating & explained the findings in detail. Wish he was my medical doctor too!
Dr. Kurilec is fantastic. As a diabetic I need to be very careful with my eyes. There service care I have received from Dr. Kurilec is far better than any I've had in the past. I travel from an hour away for my appointments because he's worth it.
