I found the Dr aloof, distant and condescending. He just could not process the word poor. He asked why I don't have a car? I said im poor. He then asked again, but why don't I own a car? I came in after having an incident. He asked why I didn't go to an ER. He said I had a stroke. I said I didn't have any of the FAST symptoms and I thought it was related to a spine injury I've had for 50years. Sadly, Dr Stein is rude and arrogant in his approach to empathetic patient care. I rate his care one star, only because no stars is not an option. His only concern is to promote the concierge aspect of his practice.
I have been a patient of this practice for three years, but a recent incident of severe medical negligence and a complete lack of accountability has forced me to leave. During a routine 6-month physical, staff performed an EKG. Shortly after, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) informed me that I was actively having a myocardial infarction (a heart attack) and ordered me to rush to the ER.
