I had one consultation with Dr. Frank and it was okay. He basically explained how my issues were not real. I get it--neurology is tough. However, since I did not have any recurrences of any previous issues and feeling another appointment would be unnecessary, I intended to cancel my follow up appointment. The person who answered the phone told me I could avoid being charged a cancellation fee by doing a telehealth appointment. I was pleased with this. Dr Frank is a top neurologist specializing in Headaches and Migraines with Norton Healthcare. He is very attentive, on top of all of the new innovations in treatment. I have found him to always be prepared I advance for my visit, the subsequent discussions about history, progress, lack thereof, problems, achievements, challenges, etc., are open, direct, positive, encouraging with Dr Frank looking to see what can be modified, added or removed from the treatment protocol to possibly improve results. I have been a patient with Dr. Frank for 6 years now. He is a very good doctor and very helpful. His personality is a little different, but nevertheless he’s great. Because my insurance doesn’t cover two of my expensive medications he gives me samples and they also are good about filing paperwork for patient assistance programs to help with my medication.
This doctor will talk to you like you’re an idiot. He clearly doesn’t take his patients seriously. His office was a complete mess. He changed my medication (without a phone call or message) and I’ve been trying to get in touch with his office via phone call and messages on mychart for over a month to get some clarifications and no one ever responds to me. I am going to start the search for a different neurologist. I wouldn’t recommend his office to anyone. Don’t waste your time. Look elsewhere for medical care.
I went with my sister to her first appt. To this Dr. We got there 30 mins before her appt. Time she checked in and paid her 45.00 co pay and mind you she is on a fixed income. Set there until 11 and her appt. Was 1015. When the nurse called her back and called her by the wrong name. Said he was taking us back to his office because he was not going to see her.
