I was sad to see some previous negative reviews of Dr. Gelfand. He is WONDERFUL. He has done 5 surgeries for me. I have Holt Oram and he is one of but a few with knowledge of it. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a caring, skilled surgeon.
I felt confident when I first met Dr. Gelfand and Eric Crapster P.A. and I don't feel comfortable with most Drs. These guys a a great tag team and my full tear rotator cuff surgery went very well. They answered all of my questions. My healing is right on schedule and my scars are hardly visible 7 weeks later. I heard a lot of horror stories prior to my surgery but was put at ease with Dr. Gelfand.
Excellent hand care on Trigger Thumb issues. Two visits for shots and ultimately will need minor surgical procedure. He Takes time to explain procedures and offer options. I will use dr Gelfand for surgery in the fall. Team also provided exceptional care. Limited wait time and extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend the dr if you have an orthopedic need that falls within his specialty.
Husband tore his distal biceps tendon 3 years ago. Dr. Gelfand did a great repair. He has full use of his arm, without complaint.
