Dr Black operated on my husband for bladder cancer.He is nice enough in the pre admission apppointment but then you are left to his fellows.Never saw him...so unprofessional.Nurses on the floor said he is never seen.He is arrogant but a good surgeon which in the end that is what you want.You have to fight to be seen in follow up as his staff on the other end are basically useless.Maybe a few years ago he was more humble if you see this doctor know he is narsasstic but a good surgeon.
Dr. Black saved my life. I admire him for his skill and professional qualities. He is a modest and altruistic man. For these reasons, he is my hero.
Had prostate surgery Sept. 17 / 2018 with Dr. Black and feel very fortunate to have been recommended to this exceptional dr and staff. We are very lucky to have such a fine Prostate center in Vancouver .

Dr Argue is rigid and not tolerant to shared knowledge. He thinks, he has the full authority to prescribe any medication to his patients without their knowledge and without adequate consultation with the patients. He does not like to be challenged. He was prescribed to me a painkiller that caused a heart attack. I ended up in Evergreen emergency and with an unnecessary angiogram. Amazing doctor! She is very smart and cares about her patients.
Last year, after my pain specialist loss his license from the state, I was in a panic. I had seen him as my primary for a number years. I called him and with much compassion, took down slowly off my medication until I could find another pain specialist. I did not suffer much. Now I am at reasonable levels of medication for pain. He was not judgemental and very compassionate. Thank you.
Dr. Lindgren for sure saved my life! I can't imagine going through cancer treatment without him! I was a young Mom when I was diagnosed and was treated aggressively to give me the best chance of survival. He took the time to go over all of my questions and concerns and even gave me his cell phone # to call in case I had any worries. Thank you thank you thank you Dr. Lindgren! I'm still here 7 years later!
