Booked eye exam , I had initially called them 48 hrs ahead of the appt and ask to move which she declined to and said we cannot move it anymore. I kept getting calls from two different receptionist. They asked me to come in for 8:45am for my 9 am appt.I told her I have to be at work so will be there at 8:45 forsure so i can leave on time. Came at 8:45 and the office wasnot even open. Well me and my kids have been going to this doctor for a year(before this it was Dr Desai but he moved locations ) His demeanour is very very curt and cold . My last appointment I was late by 10 minutes and I was told by his assistant that I would be getting a charge of $45. I do not have insurance so I immediately refused, but then I was told I would get slapped with a no-show fee of $75. I will not be returning to this optometrist again. For the past five years, he has been my family’s optometrist. At our most recent visit, both of my kids’ eye prescriptions were misplaced. Prescriptions are only given in hard copy, never by email. When I asked for copies, I was told I would need to pay an additional $10 fee per person just to receive them.
