I went to this doctor twice and was not satisfied on either visit. Here are my reasons for 1 star.Both visits i had to wait 90 minutes past my appointment time TWICE! Unacceptable.He does not make eye contact, not sure what thats about. I felt he wasnt interested in my issues at all. I had a testosterone blood test that was very low but he declined to give me treatment even though i had been on it before. Dr. Hornsby is a great doctor, he listens to you and about your problems, and he and Jessica Smith Are the best. He and his team are the best. I came from Lori Henry who is a CRPN, she is good in some way but she does it her way or no way. She doesn't spend much time with you and by the medicare report she charges for things she didn't do. When I first saw her, she wouldn't take my medical records because they were typed on paper. I've talked to several doctors about this and they just shook their heads in disbelief. Dr. Hornsby has treated my wife and me for more than one year. He listens to our descriptions of our issues and takes conservative action. He will run tests if needed and refer to other physicians if necessary. The staff is caring and friendly. We highly recommend Cedar Street Primary Care and Dr. Hornsby, as well as CRNP Lori Henry.
I had been having a reoccurring medical problem for over a year and my primary care doctor wouldn't run the necessary tests to determine how to treat me. So after suffering for so long I felt hopeless. Then I got very sick and had severe pain so I went to urgent care and saw Dr.Hornsby. He seemed genuinely concerned and determined to help me. He ran several tests and prescribed me something that has actually helped me. I'm so thankful that I found a doctor that really cares for his patients
Dr. Hornsby was very unprofessional. I could hear him discussing my information outside the door before entering. I had pneumonia on top of the flu and he treated me like a drug seeker for inquiring about cough medicine. The other doctor in the practice had told me to return for a recheck on that certain day and Dr. Hornsby was rude and told me it was too early for a recheck when I was simply following doctors orders. I would never recommend him to anyone.
