I had to cancel my appointment at the hospital for a study bcz I was never explained previously about this procedure. The hospital called me at 5:15 to confirm pre admission for something I haven’t been explained and so late that I can not even make arrangements or ask the office for more information. Lack of communication between doctor and patient. Lack of coordination in the Memorial Hospital. I am writing this review on behalf of my mother who is a colon cancer survivor and has been seen for colonoscopy screenings on a regular basis in another state. This was her first time seeing Dr. Reinhold. I accompanied her as her designated medical directive and interpreter. My interpreter services were not needed as the have well qualified staff to do it. At first the doctor seemed like he was willing to help with my severe nausea and digestive problems but after running some extremely painful tests he told me my weight is the problem even after I explained several times that the weight is because of years of medications and happened AFTER I started having stomach problems but he didn't seem to be listening because he just sent me back to my PCP who just turned around and sent me to a different GI Doctor who has been a tremendous help. The best GI doc around. Highly intelligent. Excellent bedside manner. Extremely skilled. Our community is very lucky to have such a good doc. If yer hesitant about the colonoscopy (like I was), don't be. Dr. Reinhold will make it a pleasant experience. -Noah Kaufman.
