I edited my review coming from 1 star to 3 stars only because his reliability with appointments is questionable. I gave him a pass the first time, but the second time I expected an apology. I was told he was dealing with family emergencies. I understand that, but in that case the office could have posted a sign (or notified patients earlier) explaining that, due to circumstances beyond his control, appointments might need to be rescheduled. My husband and I are super happy with Dr Cruz’s practice and new associate Dr Owen. I tried a different local practice a few months ago, Serene Smiles, because they provide many additional services but they actually proposed a treatment plan of $20,000 none of which would be paid by insurance - a complete makeover “to make me look younger” that I didn’t ask for. My experience with Dr. Cruz, Dr. Owen and their entire team was 100% pleasant. They very skillfully treated my painful teeth and turned a procedure I was dreading into a pleasant experience.
