He was a wonderful provider. We’d been bounced around everywhere for three weeks with our son. Doctor to urgent care. Finally in front of an intelligent, to the point physician who correctly (and swiftly) diagnosed our son. My son was sick and he was able to correctly diagnose and manage him. He even was able to work with us to keep him out of the hospital. You know he called us the next day to make sure the plan was working! Thank you.
The worst pediatrician. My son had high fever, so we went to the ER. The doctor, in a Panic-inducing manner, mentioned the possibility of the baby dying and proceeded to conduct all possible tests. Since my baby was not even three months old, I had no choice but to follow the recommendations. After undergoing all the tests, the results turned out to be insignificant, and I ended up with a bill of $30,000.
He took excellent care of my daughter at the ER today. He was very thorough and explained everything in a manner in which I could understand. The ER needs more doctors like him. Thank you Dr. Luma!"
what a great experience...no one wants to be in the ER, least of not with your child but we are so grateful we came to Cardons and had the fortune to be cared for by this superb physician. Too bad he dosent see kids in his own practice. Not sure where these reviews about his "ego" come from but we saw none of that, just a competent, goal directed MD who saved my sons life.
Worst Dr. I have ever seen in my life. First of all; as a doctor, you can't have an attitude. They are promoting on the walls in the hospital that "WE ARE LISTENING". NO you are not! First train your doctors and teach them how to speak without an ego. This guy was telling us he has 20 years of experience and he is the best doctor in the planet! Very rude, loud and unprofessional. I do not recommend anyone to see him if you're taking your kids to Banner Desert Medical Center ER!
My 1 yo was seen in the ER for a .5 cm lac that just needed derma bond. I am also a PA and didn’t have the supplies. UC wouldn’t see him, the PA put in 3 dissolvable sutures leaving an ugly scar. Received two bills totaling $3000 through Jayson Luma whom we never met although in the office note he states that he came in the room and commented on our babies temperament & examined him? He also wrote that he was in the room watching the entire procedure? We just ask for honest notes/coding.
We are forever grateful for Dr Luma. He responded quickly to our sons emergency care and his honesty potentially saved our sons life. He was stern, brutally honesty yet compassionate. His professionalism and confidence was exceptional. Thank you Dr Luma
