For most of the summer of 2025 I have seen Dr. Jayaraman Ravindran. Based on my experience it has been positive. The front desk staff has been nothing but supportive, friendly and accommodating to my schedule. First encounter with the doc went well. He asked a lot of questions, he listened to me as I answered and explained what all I was experiencing. The doctor has been notably indifferent toward me — he has shown little empathy and seems unconcerned about how I feel and my symptoms, he just increased my medications with horrible side effects. I am disappointed to have spent seven months under his care, only to be referred to another specialist in the end.
I had an excellent experience with Dr Ravindran and another doctor in the same practice. Are the staff rude and aloof? Sure. Did I also see other patients yelling and being rude first to the staff? Yes. So I get they must be jaded. What I liked best about Dr. R though was his practical, no nonsense attitude. He listened patiently and thoroughly. I was hospitalized at Medical City Denton for the fifth time on 12/8/24 due to being very ill (lung issues). I was discharged on 12/13/24. Due to being a 100% disabled veteran, the VA normally covers the bill. Dr. Ravindran is a kind and straightforward doctor who cares for his patients. His assistant Amy is absolutely amazing and extremely nice. I’ve been seeing Dr. Ravindran for over 20 years and would recommend him.
