I was hospitalized at Medical City Denton for the fifth time on 12/8/24 due to being very ill (lung issues). I was discharged on 12/13/24. Due to being a 100% disabled veteran, the VA normally covers the bill. Well, I am literally hospitalized right now, been hospitalized again since 12/29/24 as I had to go to Texas Health in Frisco for help as this is the sixth time being hospitalized. Dr. Ravindran is a kind and straightforward doctor who cares for his patients. His assistant Amy is absolutely amazing and extremely nice. I’ve been seeing Dr. Ravindran for over 20 years and would recommend him.
I don't know how they are even in business. I went to the ER a couple weeks ago and was referred to him. Nobody ever answers the phone...only option is to leave a message to make an appointment. I've left several messages, very clear, and told them the ER said they sent over my CT and notes. Still no return call to make an appointment. I will be seeing my PCP tomorrow and I'm sure he'll send me to a different neurologist. This is ridiculous and I would recommend that nobody see this doctor or go to that office. I have seen Dr Ravindran for over 15 years and always had great care. He has treated me for several things and done numerous test and given me the results I needed to get further work up.
I've been seeing Dr. Ravindran for several years now for some neurological complications related to a bone marrow transplant, chemotherapy and other problems. I'm a retired physician and can say that from my perspective he has done an excellent job of managing my condition, explaining required testing and suggested treatments.
