Used to come here because I could never get an appointment with any female OBGYNs in OC. Dr. Masserman seemed like a good doctor as long as I was "thin," then I gained a little bit of weight on paper, and he started fat-shaming me. I was actually at a pretty healthy weight for someone who exercises a lot, plays sports and does weight lifting. I had abs and didn't even look remotely overweight. After that appointment I never went back.
Good doctor but fraud billing department. For their failure to file medical claims in a timely manner, CIGNA denied their claim. Then they started coming after us for recovering those charge, reported us to collection agency (with a patient-responsibility clause). Collection agents were terrible to deal with and eventually CIGNA stepped in and quality care made it clear to them that it is illegal for them to bill patient directly. They backed off, charges were reversed but wasted a lot of our time/energy.
