I was a loyal patient of Dr. Schulman’s for 9 years, so when he retired and Dr. Montilla took over, I wanted to give him a shot. The first time I went in, the dentist wasn’t even there, and they made me come back again the next day to see him, which is crazy work. Then, Dr. Montilla and the dental hygienist pushed specialized toothpaste and mouth wash, even mints. I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share my experience with Dr. Montilla. From the first visit, I could tell he genuinely cares about his patients. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything in a way that made sense, and made me feel completely comfortable. I’ve had a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist in the past, but he and his team were so kind and gentle—it effectively changed how I feel about dental visits. Truly had the worst experience here ever do not recommend
Dr. Jay Schulman NO LONGER WORKS HERE!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I have no clue how they are legally allowed to still call themselves "Jay Schulman DDS" anymore, he retired. My 2 visits here were nothing but horrific. They uncomfortably upsold me on a bunch of procedures they said were necessary but definitely weren't, including saliva testing the doctor implored me to get and then NEVER shared my results after charging me 500 dollars for it. Beware: this office is a scam. The office staff was really nice and super cool at first... Then they claimed, after receiving treatment and a sales pitch for a whole bunch of things that my insurance doesn't cover, by a dentist that I assumed was Dr Schulman, that Dr. Schulman retired a while ago. I don't even know the name or qualifications of the guy that stuck his hands in my mouth. He wasn't even listed on their website.
