went to dr jara as refered trouble swalling and digestion said it was my back no xray no tests said not my stomach but told me to take 3 times the meds i was on mistake what kind of dr is he

My sister was referred to Dr Raja in late Feb 2025. She could not get an appt until April. She was quickly scheduled for a colonoscopy, but could not complete the prep. She was scheduled again 2 wks later and had the same problem. No attempt was made to change the prep for her. At the April appt, he ordered an MRI, but the referral was not filled out correctly. I was very happy with my recent visit to Dr Jay Raja. He listened to what I had to say and we have a plan of action we are trying. His staff is also very kind and caring. I would recommend him to anyone.

Luv Dr Raja, but did not care for Shore Health facility. Everybody there was very professional and efficient.I went in at 11 o’clock in the morning and didn’t get home until 430 that afternoon. That’s just too long. I wish he would use a surgery center instead. You’re in your out your home a lot faster.

Dr. Raja has been my gastroenterologist for over 20 years. He literally saved my father’s life, and also cared for my mother. I am a registered nurse and appreciate his wisdom and expertise.
