I saw Dr. Javed Imam after I experienced Pulmonary Embolisms. Dr. Javed Imam was unable to advise what caused the Pulmonary Embolisms but was convinced that I should stop taking Apixaban which treated and prevented the pulmonary embolisms. I stressed to him several times that I was not comfortable no longer taking the Apixaban as the cause was never determined.
