Quite literally the worst care I’ve ever gotten. Was referred for Interstitial Lung Disease I got in the military (was retired for it after years of PFTs, CT scan and a biopsy!) the first time I saw him I brought a copy of the CT scan which was a little old so I asked if he would need a repeat and he said it wasn’t necessary, I told him I also have asthma which is treated with albuterol, simple. I had to come into town recently to help with my father who had just gotten out of the hospital. We approached this office and the doctor about a letter for the VA. My father only has about 60 percent of his lungs and also has COPD. They have been so uncooperative. My father worked on attack helicopters in the Army. He was exposed for 21 years to fumes from jet fuel, aerosol, paints, and other fumes that go with working on aircraft and in hangars. He had been having issues for many years, even prior to retiring. I am actually quite frustrated with this office and I am amazed that my father has been going there for so long. I had to come in town recently to help with my father who had just gotten out of the hospital. My father has COPD. And he also has suffered from collapse lungs, which can be caused because of the COPD. Yes we acknowledge he was a smoker. However, my father also worked on attack helicopters.
