I would give him 0 stars if I could. Charged me a copay when my son came in for his annual physical, which is covered under my insurance at 100%. When I questioned him at my son’s follow up appointment, he literally asked me if I’d rather pay my $30 copay instead of $500. Turns out when I spoke with my insurance that he put a certain code in which triggered that copay, so his comment meant he could’ve entered another code which would have had my insurance charge me more. ​I will never return to this practice. I saw Dr. Pecarsky for a routine annual physical, and from the start, his bedside manner was entirely lacking. The initial visit was completely nondescript—he simply ordered standard bloodwork and scheduled a follow-up appointment. ​The real issues began after I left. I needed a second script for a routine mammogram. Instead of just sending it over, the receptionist scheduled me for a televisit just to make the request. The front desk called me just hours before my appointment to cancel because supposedly the physician could not address the issue about which I had made the appointment! When I complained because they had accepted an appointment and could have notified me at least a day earlier if something had changed, they just hanged up on me. They appear disorganized (if not just incompetent), absolutely disrespectful toward patients, and are interested only in handling regular annual doctor visits. They can't handle anything else.
