I have been a patient of Dr. Groomer's for years. What a great doctor. He listens thoughtfully. He asks pertinent questions. He gets to the root of the matter, and ACTS. No dithering around. I never feel judged, and sometimes, he makes me laugh!
After being a former professional baseball player I can admit I was given diva type of treatment when I played which made me In a way that spoiled me and made me dread going to Doctors appointments once I was no longer playing. As someone who also works in healthcare, I believe Dr. Groomer is by far the best doctor I've ever had! He has been my doctor for almost a decade now, and I don't plan on changing my primary care doctor ever again. He has excellent bedside manners, he listens, he is thorough, and most importantly he cares. He goes above and beyond to help his patients, often fitting me in last minute during his heavy workload days just so I can do a quick call/telemedicine appointment to speak to him personally. I was a patient of Dr. Groomer for nearly two years (first at this location and then in Glendale) before finally reaching my breaking point and seeking a better provider. In person, he was friendly and helpful, but after each visit there were always issues regarding next steps and near constant inaction and lack of progress regarding treatments or referrals or services I required.
