The audiologist was extremely rude and unprofessional in their manner. I expected patience, compassion, and respect, especially when caring for an elderly patient, but that was not our experience. Healthcare professionals, particularly those working with seniors, should understand the importance of communicating respectfully and making patients and their families feel comfortable. Extremely Disappointing Experience I am extremely disappointed with the way my mother’s surgery cancellation was handled by the secretary Grace at this medical office. The communication was unprofessional, dismissive, and showed very little consideration for the fact that this was an important medical procedure that she had been preparing for. Visited Dr. Hacker twice for my toddler. Don't know what is wrong with him. 30 seconds for each appointment and that's it. You are not supposed to ask any questions and you'll get very weird expressions from him. Handled my toddler quite rudely. 4:15 pm appointment and got our turn at 6 pm. Worst patient management and frustrating for you and your kid. Not worth the 3-6 months wait to get appointment for 30 sec of interaction.
Grace showed no empathy or compassion throughout our experience. A genuine mistake led to a canceled surgery, but instead of treating us with understanding, she seemed to take it personally. She was rude, ignored our attempts to resolve the situation, and never contacted us to reschedule—even though the patient has cancer. Her lack of professionalism and concern for people’s health was deeply disappointing.
