Dr. Boardman is a very caring, skilled surgeon. I trusted him with my life and he took all the fear from this scary time in my life. He has a wonderful sense of humor. Dr. Boardman you are wonderful and thank you for taking the very best care of me and taking the fear from my husband. May God bless you and yours. Sincerely, Louan Warner, Leesburg, FL
So greatful!! THANK YOU Dr. Boardman and staff, if I need any future surgery I would choose Dr. Boardman again. Everything went seamless from the beginning of my health journey until my follow up appt. Thank you!
Good surgeon but needs to be more involved and be more patience with his patients
I was referred to Dr.Boardman for a colon resection surgery. Since this was my first surgery ever, I was scared and not sure what to expect. Dr. Boardman really took his time answering all my questions and explaining the procedure at length. When I looked puzzled, he even drew me a picture to help me understand. You just don't find doctor's who take this kind of time to make you feel at ease. The procedure went off without a hitch and I could not be more grateful. Best surgeon ever!!
Terrible experience. Would not recommend under any circumstances, especially emergency surgery. Acts bored and disinterested to answer questions or concerns. Zero patient empathy. Will never return. Instead of 1 star, zero would be more appropriate. Terrible after-care and surgery follow-up.
Business response:
Shawn, I am sorry you feel you were inappropriately treated. Without violating HIPPA I can't address your concerns on a website. However I can be confident that you received the care appropriate for your condition. Also you were seen by my partners during your stay since I am not at the hospital you were at except while on call. Feel free to call our office if you would like to discuss in person or on the phone. I would like to learn from your experience for future patients.
I was diagnosed with stage 3A breast cancer, Doctor Boardman was wonderful. He supported me through the entire process, and still does. I'm alive today because of his skill as a surgeon and his care and compassion for his patients. He's the best!!
Not a good fit. Made poor reccomendations. Was very curt with his answers. Didn't seem to care weather we used him or not, did not act like he wanted us as patients either now or in the future. I would not send my dog to him with his attitude.
Business response:
Mrs. Rogers. I am sorry you feel that I was not interested in caring for you however as I discussed with you at your appointment your condition is not something our office treats. As such we referred you to a tertiary care hospital that has the specialists that you need. By sending you to the doctors that would best be suited to treat you and not treating you ourselves was having your best interests at heart.
