Dr. Howe performed my daughter’s procedure and we couldn’t be happier with the care received. After a delay with Covid and moving to El Paso from the Midwest, I was reluctant to even have this procedure carried out. Being new somewhere and not knowing the reputation of medical care, is rough. Dr. Howe is a God sent. He’s done two of my daughters procedures and he never fails to amaze us with his knowledge and compassion. Your children are in great hands with Dr. Howe.
My son had a Gtube placed and while is surgery Dr. Howe did a hernia repair without my knowledge. It would’ve been nice to just be asked. He knew about the repair before surgery, so if it needs to be done, I should’ve been informed. I asked our personal nurse if his tube looked infected and she said it did. We a saw dr Howe the next day for our post op visit and I asked if his tube looked infected, I was told no that it was granulation tissue and they did a silver nitrate treatment.
