My fiancé just visited the urgent care in Norwalk. He arrived at 10a and waited over 2 hours while the doctor took other patients before him. When he finally advocated for himself, a nurse brought him to a room. Dr. Janki Sherma refused to come into the room or see him until he paid for his bill in advance. What kind of policy is that??! We have never seen this required anywhere. This is a discriminatory practice against someone due to their race and a violation to our fundamental rights for access to healthcare.
