04/25 update, I’ve been seeing Doctor Pan for several years, and she is very patient and give me professional advice.My classmate went to City of Hope to treat his cancer, I found out that she used to work at city of Hope before, and now works in a place near my home. Dr. Pan visited me at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital ER, when I felt ill. She is thorough and explanatory in first hearing the news of my diagnosis. She also came for follow up visit after being admitted to hospital the next day. And after being discharged, her offices promptly called me for follow up office visit. This diagnosis is nothing I’d ever imagined I’d need to learn about. It’s a blessing to have kind doctors and staff to walk you through each step. My family and I thank DrPan and staff❤️🙏
The office staff is totally inefficient. I called the office over a month ago to make an appointment. I was told that I could not make an appointment until they had my medical records from my previous oncologist. I called back to find out if they had received my records only to be told that they were still waiting for them. I was told that they would contact me once they had received them. My classmate went to City of Hope to treat his cancer, I found out that she used to work at city of Hope before, and now works in a place near my home. So I went to see her last week for the first time to get second opinion on my prostate and lung cancers, she is very nice, knowledgeable, professional and give me suggestions and analyze my situations, answers my questions patiently. I was told that I should just observe and no need to rush to do the chemotherapy like other doctors advised me. I’m glad to hear that.
I have been a patient of Dr. Pan for more than 2 years. She listens and understands my concerns, provides information that I can understand so that I can make an informed decision. Wait times are often longer than I would like, but when Dr. Pan is with me, her full attention is with me. She is never in a hurry. She always makes sure that all of my questions and concerns are addressed. The office staff is also very kind, understanding and patient.
