My experience with Dr. Mitchell was a positive one. She was very thorough and addressed both the best outcome and the possible negative outcome. She took the time to make sure I had an understanding of what is going on every step of the way. Some of the things, I did not want to hear but it's better to know up-front what can go wrong and what happens if that scenario of events happen. I was very pleased with all the information that Dr. Mitchell presented.
Dr. Mitchell is an exemplary professional and treated me with the utmost care for my thyroid cancer. While dealing with all the mental toll cancer can take on a person, it was extremely comforting knowing Dr. Mitchell was on my surgical team. Dr. Mitchell was able to answer about 25 minutes of questions at my pre-op appointment without hesitation. She had amazing bedside manner the day of the surgery and I went in without hesitation.
