Dr. Mathen used too much anesthesia (laughing gas) on me 10 years ago. Terrible terrible terrible feeling. Haven't been to a dentist since. Lost all trust, which is sad.
My husband and I have been going to the same experienced dental hygienist from Elite Smiles for over 30 years! We have never felt anything but trust and confidence in her professional position. GREAT EXPERIENCE! My youngest just turned 3 years old a little over a week ago and this was his first visit to the dentist. We have prepped for this for weeks. We read a bunch of books, watch cartoon episodes with dentist visits, listened to toddler dentist song, and bought a teeth cleaning game. “I want to thank everyone at the office for taking such good care of my mom. From the moment she walked in, we felt welcomed and supported. My daughter had an appointment @ 3:00 pm on Monday, November 3rd. She had 2 teeth worked on. Was still in the office way past the closing of the office. She was sitting in chair crying because it hurts so bad while dentist was working on her mouth. Dentist didn’t seem to care she was crying and just kept going. When is the patient your top priority versus just wanting to get done so you can get out of the office since you close at 5 pm? Totally ridiculous with how the dentist handled this.
