I had a stick injury at work and went to the emergency room. I received a bill from the hospital and workman's compensation paid for it. No bill from this doctor was received by either me or workman's compensation. However, two months later, I received a letter from the collections for this invisible bill. I have almost perfect credit score and never left bills unpaid. I don't understand why she's abusing collection system like this but I'm definitely avoiding her like plague in the future.
