Jan has amazing expertise and is a genuine & caring doctor. I highly recommend her.
Don't see Jan if you're concerned about pain, hypermobility or connective tissue disorders/EDS. Because of Jan saying she "doesn't focus on labels" (her words), my hEDS and POTS went undiagnosed for 5 additional years, and my physical condition degraded significantly despite me suggesting and presenting evidence for hEDS multiple times, and despite Jan saying over and over again that I clearly had some sort of multi-system disease (and then doing nothing about it). Unfortunately my experience with Jan was not great. I went to her trying to find out what was wrong with me as she has such a great reputation. She ordered an xray and based on its results said that she didn't think I had an autoimmune or inflammatory problem but rather than I just had chronic pain/fibro (eg pain with no physical cause) and that she couldn't help me further. Came to Sydney on a Working Holiday Visa with my girlfriend with the intention to stay for 2 years. I am also an Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) patient and as I have left the UK, I had to find a rheumetology doctor to source medication scripts and advice if needed.
