Professional, sensible, great communicator.
I saw Dr Dodge today, did not know what to expect, he was nothing like some of the reviews I read. He listens and spent time making sure all my questions were were answered before I left. He gives his view on things but the final decision, is yours. I really was impressed, I like the way he was open and willing to explain things. I would recommend him, to family and friends. I liked that I had a voice in my care. I was concerned about a drug, and he listened, and understood my concerns.
Robert Bluhm of Ephrata WA was brought by ambulance to Confluence Health Wenatchee Valley Hospital on Wednesday morning, May 17, after his family physician, Dr. Lowell Allred, discovered his troponin levels were elevated (signs of heart attack). The hospital was already full and after Bob was admitted, Dr. James Dodge, MD met with us and began various tests and procedures for the next 3 days. We highly recommend their efficient cardiology dept. for their compassionate and outstanding service.
Worst Doctor I have ever Been to. Doesn't listen, and arrogant. Also administrated drugs to me that was on my hospital records as having bad reactions to. They were his drugs of choice my medical records didn't matter to him. Good luck if you see him. I would not recommend him, nor would I want to see him again
Business response:
Gordon misunderstands his hospitalization. Gordon's chart reported intolerances to more than 30 drugs including all the drugs we use to make people comfortable during procedures. My nursing team and I tried to make Gordon comfortable with very low doses of medications that we hoped he would be able to tolerate. Gordon's procedure was very long and he became increasingly uncomfortable. Our attempts to comfort Gordon resulting in him having a drug reaction. Damned if we do, damned if we don't.
