Took my daughter to see him. She was having sinus nose bleeds vomiting issues. He ordered a X-ray and blood work. Next thing we know we get a message from saying our daughter has intracranial hypertension and needed to see a neurologist asap. The experience with the Dr was ok, but before going to this dr please be aware of the extreme charges and billing headaches that will follow. My son was a patient of this practice since he was a baby. Had 2 sets of eartubes done etc. it had been a number of years since we had been back, thank goodness. Over the summer we went to see a dr at the practice to take a look at his tonsils due to a number of bouts with tonsillitis. Dr. Albright himself was very nice and professional. We were also happy with the procedure. However, I do have concerns about lack of transparency at least with regard to the medical facility this office was partnered with. We were referred to River Oaks Medical facility l. We were called by them to pay the facility bill before the procedure. This is in addition to the fees and chargers due for the doctor operating the procedure. Be careful! Their charges are outrages. I went with my son for a fluid and hearing test and they've billed me 7 times than a different specialist in Bellaire (using the same insurance). They DID NOT notify me in advance like other place do, and that's when they had 2 months to get my benefits verified (2 months waiting list). Their billing department said I can send a dispute via email but didn't hear back, even when tried to follow up via Email, voice mails etc'.
Dr. Albright is wonderful. He came as a recommendation from a relative and he didn’t disappoint. Our first visit was related to recurring ear infections. After a hearing test and review of my son’s history, Dr. Albright recommended tubes. He was not pushy and covered everything in full. We opted for tubes to be placed by him at the TCH TMC facility, another great experience. Alan Heidecker performed his hearing tests in office and was so kind and patient.
