I sought a urologist with experience in the use of the DaVinci robot system. Dr. Iwakiri is probably the most experienced doctor in its use. As it turns out I needed a radical prostatectomy. I can't imagine anyone else having the experience to find all the tissue involved and enabling the pathologist to give me a cancer free diagnosis. I'm extremely disappointed! It started off well but quickly took a turn for the worse, and now I'd advise you to go elsewhere. I was initially told I had a 5mm and a 3mm kidney stone, but after scheduling surgery, I waited over a month with multiple time changes. On the surgery day, after several delays, I was told the stone had moved, requiring a more invasive procedure. After 4 hours in pre-op and facing a 3-hour wait, I opted to leave. My interaction with Dr. Iwakiri was disappointing. He rushed through my appointment, didn't explain anything to me in any detail, and didn't seem to really care about the pain I was experiencing. I will say that I am a female and he did seem to be more patient with the gentleman he helped before my appointment. I've been in the healthcare industry in this market for more than 25 years and Dr. Iwakiri is by far the most sought after and most renowned urologist in the area. We would not go to anyone else for surgery or care related to urology care. The reason for the 4 star is the cost of services is higher than other healthcare providers in this market. didn't inform me about the medication had a seizure because of it also kept looking at his watch and only seen me for 4 min but gave me a bill of 300
